Royal AM Have beaten Orlando Pirates to the signing of an in-demand star, the Siya crew have been informed.
As reported by the Siya crew, last month, Royal AM joined the race for TS Galaxy winger Mokete Mogaila who had been a long-term target of the Buccaneers.
Pirates had on two occasions expressed interest in the 26-year-old, although their attempts were rebuffed.
Now, the latest news reaching the Siya crew is that Mam’Mkhize’s side have pipped the Buccaneers to the coveted attacker’s signature, with a deal between the two parties all but done.
Mogaila’s contract with the Rockets was set to come to an end in June this year, and despite the club’s efforts to hold onto the player, indications are that the player is set for a move to Kwa-Zulu Natal.
The Siya crew reached out to the player’s representative Gerald Baloyi of Vodia Sports Management, who confirmed that Mogaila is expected to put pen to paper with coach John Maduka’s side.
“I can confirm that we are close to signing a deal with Royal AM for Shaune Mogaila,” Baloyi informed the Siya crew.
Mogaila has made six appearances for TS Galaxy in all competitions this season.
