Golden Arrows goalkeeper Sifiso Mlungwana has reacted to his Premier Soccer League award nomination with a hope of seeing coach Mandla Ncikazi get rewarded for their good season.
Abafana Bes'thende has had a very good DStv Premiership campaign, as they currently sit third with two matches remainign.
Speaking exclusively with the Siya crew, the shot-stopper says this was his target from the first game of the season.
"I'm really happy to be nominated in the category of the goalkeeper of the season, it really means a lot to me because it was one of my goals that I set at the beginning of the season," he told the Siya crew.
"I will like to thank my goalkeeping department for helping me through out the season to keep my performance at the same level."
With his coach also nominated for the coach of the season award, Mlungwana is hoping Mandla Ncikazi can finally get recognition he deseve for what he has done for them as players and other talents in the province.
"I'm happy for the coach and I hope he will get this award for everything he has done, not only for us Arrows players but for KZN.
"He has been good to us since the season started, always pushes us that we must play according to our strengths, so that we can deliver the best and improve game individually," he added.
