The future of George Maluleka at Mamelodi Sundowns is still not clear and Jabulani Mendu has weighed in on the situation.
Maluleka joined Masandawana in 2020 from Kaizer Chiefs and is struggling to get regulaer minutes which has resulted to him being linked with a loan move away from the club.
According to Mendu, the former Chiefs midfielder is better than some of Sundowns' regulars but claims politics is keeping him out of the side.
"George Maluleka is quality, he is very good more than some of other regulars at Sundowns but I guess there's more on why he hasn't been playing, it just politics," Mendu told the Siya crew.
The former Sundowns midfielder strongly believe that Mido can still do lot in the DStv Premiership and feels Orlando Pirates should make a move.
"If I were Orlando Pirates would take Maluleka, even Kaizer Chiefs can take him back because he is very good player and they didn't find his replacement. A very humble and profesional talented man," he added.
"If Sundowns send him out on loan, whichever team that will get him, will definitely benefit, i have no doubt."
