Mamelodi Sundowns legend Roger Feutmba feels the Brazilians are still far ahead of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates going into new season.
Amakhosi and Buccaneers have both strengthened their teams with good signings and coaching staff, with Chiefs adding Keagan Dolly as one of their marquee signings, while Pirates have brought in coach Mandla Ncikazi to assist Josef Zinnbauer.
Feutmba doesn't see the Soweto giants stopping Masandawana from defending their title.
"There will always be a completion in the DStv Premiership, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have made good signings but Mamelodi Sundowns are far ahead of them so nothing will change," Feutmba told the Siya crew.
The former midfielder didn't see the need to add any players for this campaign as he feels last season's squad can still get the job done this term.
"They didn't even have to make new signings for me, I think even last season's team was still going to give other DSTV Premiership clubs tough times to compete.
"Their philosophy it unmatched in this league," he concluded.s
