Orlando Pirates are believed to be the frontrunners in race for Bonginkosi Ntuli's services as the AmaZulu striker is linked with an exit from the KwaZulu-Natal outfit.
In both the matches for AmaZulu so far this season, Ntuli has been a notable absentee from Ayanda Dlamini's line-ups, which has raised eyebrows about the player's future at the Durban-based club.

According to sources, Usuthu could soon lose out on the services of the 29-year-old Pietermaritzburg-born player if nothing positive comes out of the negotiations between the parties in the coming days.
“Bongi Ntuli could leave AmaZulu for free. AmaZulu risk losing their leading striker if they do not act and tie him on a new contract. Ntuli is a subject of interest from the likes of Pirates and SuperSport United who have made an offer for the striker but were put off by the asking price but are willing to wait and take him as a free agent,” said the source.

Ntuli's representative Mandla Mthembu has previously told the Siya crew that they have had talks with the new management of AmaZulu about the former Mamelodi Sundowns player's future although nothing has been agreed upon thus far.
Ntuli has one more year left on his contract with the Durban-based club.
