Transfer Update: Some Of The Signings Which Took Place

There’s less than two weeks left of the January transfer window and Soccer Laduma takes a look at some of the deals, which took place in the past few days.

Kaizer Chiefs seemed the busiest in the transfer window in the past week, although, signed just one player so far. Amakhosi officially unveiled Teddy Akumu, after the club snapped him up on a free.

Chiefs also terminated the contract of James Kotei, while confirming a loan move for Kabelo Mahlasela to Polokwane City and a permanent transfer of Lorenzo Gordinho to Bidvest Wits.

Alongside Gordinho, Wits also completed the signing of Kgaogelo Sekgota from Vitoria Setubal this week.

However, earlier this month, the Students also brought on board Eva Nga while officially parting ways with Granwald Scott who joined Stellenbosch FC.

Alongside Scott, Stellenbosch also signed Ovidy Karuru and Ally Msengi on a free transfer.

AmaZulu FC also completed two new signings in Milos Lacny and Siphelele Magubane.

Cape Town City also did their business quite early, signing Mduduzi Mdantsane on a free in December already.

Now, it remains to be seen which other clubs will look to take advantage of the transfer window in the coming weeks.
