The player in question is Manchester United's second-choice goalkeeper Sergio Romero, who crashed his supercar into a barrier while making the commute to his club's Carrington training complex on Monday morning.
Thankfully, Romero emerged unhurt, and pictures of him standing alongside the wreckage quickly made the rounds on social media as police officers and traffic officials made their way to the site, with many believing the car is a write-off.

Earlier this season, Romero’s Argentina teammate Sergio Aguero was also involved in an accident when he crashed his silver Range Rover on his way to a training session.
