The player in question is Manchester United's second-choice goalkeeper Sergio Romero, who crashed his supercar into a barrier while making the commute to his club's Carrington training complex on Monday morning.

Thankfully, Romero emerged unhurt, and pictures of him standing alongside the wreckage quickly made the rounds on social media as police officers and traffic officials made their way to the site, with many believing the car is a write-off.
