Cape Town City will report for pre-season training before the month of June comes to an end, with the club expected to continue to bring in new signings.
The Mother City-based club announced the signing of the defender, Kouassi Kouadja and Riyaad Norodien last week, with sources revealing that the club is not done with bolstering their squad ahead of the new season.
After losing the services of the likes of Vincent Kobola, Tshepo Gumede, Robyn Johannes and Sibusiso Masina, the club will be set to fill the voids left by some of their key players.
With Shuaib Walters no longer set to continue as a goalkeeper at the club, City will be looking to add another shot-stopper to their books, despite missing out on Brilliant Khuzwayo and Brighton Mhlongo.
The Mother City-based club will report for pre-season training this month, June 24, as head coach Benni McCarthy prepares his side for the new campaign, while also introducing the new signings into the setup.
City are also expected to announce a new team captain in the coming weeks, after the departure of Johannes and it remains to be seen who will take over the armband at the club.
Despite having confirmed just two signings so far, the transfer window will officially open next month, July, although, negotiations could already be taking place behind the scenes.
