Can Kane Gives Spurs The Edge Or Will Man U Shine?

SportPesa ambassador, Doctor Khumalo throws his weight behind some of the biggest international friendlies commencing this week. These include English Premier League sides and other European giants going head-to-head.

Providing analysis and insight is just as important a tool as the game itself. With that said, Doc will give his expert opinion on the prediction of upcoming fixtures, for you to make more informed decisions! Make sure you scroll through all the infographics above to get an idea of team form which can also help you when making your predictions.

Juventus Turin v Inter Milan (Juventus win)

I will go for Juventus because, at the moment, they’re very solid. They brought in quality players and also have a new coach to impress, so I expect them to be even hungrier to do well. I will give this one to Juventus, although it isn’t going to be an easy outing at all.

Soccer Laduma tip: Both teams lost their pre-season encounters, however with the addition of players like Matthius De Ligt, we expect Juve to scrape a victory.

ACF Fiorentina v Benfica Lisbon (Fiorentina win)

This is going to be an interesting battle and a very difficult game to predict. However, we believe Fiorentina have a better pedigree compared to Benfica when it comes to cup competition. I think Fiorentina have an upper-hand going into this one.

Soccer Laduma tip: Although Fiorentina haven`t done too well, they have faced very difficult opposition. Benfica played there last friendly against relatively easy opposition. The Italian side will look to right the wrongs of their most recent defeat against Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United (Tottenham win)

Tottenham had a great season the last time out and were impressive even in the Champions League. They really surpassed expectations and will be looking to start the season on a high note. What better way to prepare for the new season than to beat Man United who are so unstable at the moment? I think, as much as I’m a big fan of United, I have to be honest to say we are still on a rebuilding phase and therefore not ready to face Tottenham, who are still solid from last season.

Soccer Laduma tip: Spurs have performed exceptionally well this pre-season campaign. There new addition in Ndomele has been brilliant. United have played well in patches however, Spurs look very strong and are expected to claim victory in this encounter.

Ajax Amsterdam v PSV Eindhoven (Ajax win)

Ajax, just like Tottenham, had a great season in the last campaign and I expect them to continue from where they left off. They have a stable team and stand a better chance of winning this one.

Soccer Laduma tip: Ajax have had an indifferent pre-season, with their last two matches resulting in a defeat against Panathinaikos and victory over Watford. PSV`s last two results have mirrored that of their Dutch rivals. A draw seems the most realistic result as both haven`t really impressed this pre-season.
