The semi-finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup kick off tonight, Tuesday, July 10, as France take on Belgium in what is, arguably, the biggest game of the tournament so far.
Tomorrow, in the second semi-final between Croatia and England, we will see one of the smallest countries in this year’s event take on the Three Lions’ and dent their chances of progressing to the final.
Looking at the semi-final matches, SportPesa ambassador Doctor Khumalo has shared his thoughts on which nations he thinks will be clinching a spot in the final.
Khumalo believes that Les Bleus will win the first semi-final between France and Belgium. The likes of France’s Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann are expected to turn on the heat in this match. However, Kevin De Bruyne could be the key man to swing into Belgium’s favour.
As the World Cup nears the finishing line, here’s the rest of Khumalo’s predictions for the rest of the week:
France v Belgium
Doc: France win
Croatia v England
Doc: England win
