FA Cup Final Sees Man City On The Run For Another Title

Last weekend, the curtain fell on some of the leagues around the world as we saw the 2018/19 season come to an end. However, there are still cup competition finals to be played as supporters will be kept entertained.

Manchester City walked away with the English Premier League title, beating Liverpool to the prestigious honour and will now turn their focus to the FA Cup final against Watford. There is no doubt that all the odds will be on Pep Guardiola’s-side to clinch the cup come Saturday, however Watford’s players will be hoping to steal the shine as they will put up a fight on the day.

SportPesa ambassador Doctor Khumalo had his say on the matches that will be taking place this weekend and has given his predictions as well. Do you agree with the Amakhosi legend?

Kaizer Chiefs v TS Galaxy (Chiefs win)

It is going to be a difficult one for sure. When we look at history, Chiefs have an obvious upper hand when it comes to cup final experience. Secondly, they’re used to capacity-packed stadiums and the pressure that comes with playing games of this magnitude. I’m not sure the same can be said about Galaxy’s young team, as this is a sold-out affair. It will be interesting to see if they will choke or excel but the odds favour Chiefs, at the moment, in terms of cup pedigree and I will give this one to them.

Manchester City v Watford (City win)

With City having clinched the league title in great fashion, I think they will be extra motivated to put this one in the bag as well. Man City made sure to put the final nail in the last game and scored four goals, which proves that they leave no stone unturned. If you’re at their mercy, they don’t mess around at all. You’re as good as your last game, they say, so I will give this one to the Citizens.

Borrusia Monchengladbach v Borrusia Dortmund (Dortmund win)

This is going to be an interesting Borrusia derby but I think Dortmund, with their huge following and good form, will take this one.

Sevilla FC v Athletic Bilbao (Bilbao win)

Bilbao aren’t a bad outfit at all and I will give this one to them.
