English Premier League log leaders, Manchester City will travel away this Saturday, December 8, as the Citizens face Chelsea. Pep Guardiola’s charges will be looking to extend their unbeaten run, however, the Blues will be hoping to take advantage of having the backing of their home crowd on the day.
SportPesa ambassador, Doctor Khumalo gives his predictions on the following matches. Do you agree with ‘16V’?
Chelsea v Manchester City (City win) 3.72 3.72 1.91
With Pep Guardiola, you’ll never figure his methodology out and how he rotates his players. Over the weekend, he went out with what looked to be a defensive approach and, after a long time, had Gabriel Jesus playing as a striker. I would like to believe that City want to stretch their winning streak, while Chelsea have been blowing hot and cold. I give this one to City.
Leicester City v Tottenham Hotspur (Draw) 3.50 3.44 2.07
This is not going to be an easy game for different reasons. Tottenham are still in the chasing pack and if there are kinds of games that they need to win in order to enhance their chances of finishing well, this is one of them. Visiting Leicester won’t be easy to I predict a draw.
Valencia v Sevilla (Valencia win) 2.19 3.48 3.16
Valencia aren’t a bad side at all, in fact, both teams aren’t bad. This is going to be a very tricky encounter because both teams haven’t been enjoying good consistent results. With Valencia at home, I give this one to them.
Espanyol v Barcelona (Barcelona win) 5.38 4.30 1.56
Barcelona have a huge pedigree and shouldn’t struggle to see off Espanyol. I think Barca will win this one.
