Cape Town City will be without their captain, Robyn Johannes, as they do battle with Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday in a must-win encounter.
The two clubs go head-to-head at FNB Stadium tomorrow evening as both clubs look to try and keep their title hopes alive, knowing that defeat could potentially knock them out of the race.
Benni McCarthy’s side have lost just two of their last 10 games in all competitions, while Steve Komphela’s Amakhosi find themselves on an eight-game unbeaten run that stretches back to last year.
Johannes missed the clash with Bidvest Wits in the Nedbank Cup earlier this month following his red card against Mamelodi Sundowns, and will sit out the second game of his suspension against the Glamour Boys.
While Chiefs don’t have any suspensions, there are several players such as Willard Katsande, George Maluleka and Gustavo Paez that remain a possible doubt through injury, while Dumisani Zuma won’t be taking part in the game.
Chiefs host City tomorrow at 20h15.
