Pirates & City Agree Terms For Buccaneer Transfer

Orlando Pirates and Cape Town City are believed to have agreed terms over the transfer of Brighton Mhlongo, with the personal aspects of the deal now being discussed.
Mhlongo spent last season on loan from Pirates with Chippa United, although made just eight appearances in the Absa Premiership over the course of the season, and will subsequently return to the Buccaneers as things stand prior to the start of the 2018/19.
However, that could all change as the Citizens look to try and bolster their goalkeeping department, with Siya sources revealing that they are now in talks with the player and his representatives in hope of hashing out a deal that will see him make the switch to the Mother City.
While the terms of the deal are unknown at this point in time, it is known that talks are currently ongoing for Mhlongo to put pen to paper on a deal with City that will see him team up with Benni McCarthy in the Western Cape next season.
