A former Orlando Pirates defender has named four stars who he thinks could give Kaizer Chiefs problems in the upcoming Soweto Derby.
Following their 1-0 win over Black Leopards in their previous match, Pirates will hope to continue with their impressive run of good form in the Absa Premiership under coach Josef Zinnbauer, when they clash against Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
Chiefs come off back-to-back losses against Maritzburg United and Highlands Park in the league and Nedbank Cup respectively.
Speaking to the Siya crew, former Pirates defender Lizo Mjempu selectd four players that have impressed him in the resurgence of the Buccaneers.
“What I like about Pirates right now is that their important players have picked (up) form at the right time and are doing well. I’m talking about (Luvuyo) Memela, Gabadinho (Mhango), (Vincent) Pule and (Fortune) Makaringe. Those players are very important for Pirates and they could hurt Chiefs,” said Mjempu.
