Platinum Stars’ football manager, Senzo Mazingiza, says the door is still open for Masibusane Zongo to return when he’s sorted out his wrangling with Chippa United.
The talented but wayward winger has been given a chance to revitalise his career with Dikwena, although he recently had to leave their camp in order to go to Cape Town in an attempt to get his clearance from the Chilli Boys.
Unfortunately for the 23-year-old, things have taken longer than expected, and at this moment he remains in the Mother City as he waits to sort out his situation with his former club.
However, Mazingiza tells the Siya crew that the winger doesn’t need to rush, and that he is welcome to return whenever he is sorted.
Mazingiza said, “We gave him the opportunity to restart his career at a club with good facilities and who can give him a chance, and that offer still stands. We understand that he’s currently having some problems at Chippa, we’re not going to get involved in that, but our door is open when he wants to come back here.”
