Moroka Swallows’ coach has been invited to attend the UEFA seminar for continuous coaching education.
The seminar, which will be attended by UEFA qualified coaches only, will see the Swallows mentor rubbing shoulders with former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs coach, Andre Villas Boas.
Marques told the Siya crew that he was looking forward to attending the seminar, which be held in his home country, Portugal. The seminar will start on the 2nd of June until the 6th of June.
“UEFA invited me through the Portuguese Football Association and I accepted their invite. It is an honour for me to attend this seminar and I’m looking forward to sharing my ideas with some of the best coaches in the world,” said Marques.
“I will leave on the 29th of this month and then return on the 10th to prepare for next season,” added Marques.
