The Nedbank Cup round of 32 fixtures took place over the past week.
On Wednesday, February 7, Bidvest Wits were ruled out of the Nedbank Cup as Cape Town City's new recruit, Matthew Rusike ensured that his side progressed to the next round. AmaZulu were held to a 2-all draw against Mthatha Bucks, which saw the match decided on a penalty shootout where Usuthu claimed the victory. Ubuntu Cape Town beat Polokwane City 3-2 to see themselves through to the next round of the tournament.
On Friday, February 9, Mamelodi Sundowns secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Cape Town All Stars.
On Saturday, February 10, Orlando Pirates got their revenge by beating Ajax Cape Town 2-0, courtesy of a brace from Bernard Morrison. Chippa United sent Phiva Young Stars packing after a 2-0 victory. Steenberg United's 3-1 win against Orbit College sees them through to the next round. Maritzburg United taught Swallows FC a footballing lesson after a 3-1 victory.
On Sunday, February 11, Royal Eagles secured a 1-0 win over Happy Wanderers with a goal from Mame Niang. Bloemfontein Celtic and SuperSport United were held in a 1-all draw, which saw them battle it out in a penalty shootout where Siwelele's 5-4 victory saw them through to the next round. EC Bees secured a 3-1 win against Mariveni United, while Golden Arrows suffered a 3-0 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs.
