The ABSA Premiership league fixtures and the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final took place over the past week.
On Tuesday, November 21, Mamelodi Sundowns travelled to Braamfontein where they secured a 2-0 win against Bidvest Wits. Cape Town City were held to a 1-all draw against log leaders Baroka FC, while Orlando Pirates could not secure all three points in the 0-0 draw against Golden Arrows.
Platinum Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw, while in Durban, AmaZulu and Kaizer Chiefs suffered the same fate. Polokwane City drew 0-0 against Maritzburg United. Free State Stars managed to salvage a point in their 1-all draw against Chippa United.
On Saturday, November 25, Golden Arrows and Cape Town City played out to a 2-all draw, Ajax Cape Town and AmaZulu also went on to grab a point each in their 2-2 draw. Kaizer Chiefs could not secure three points after their 1-1 result against Free State Stars. Maritzburg United and Bidvest Wits drew 0-0, and Chippa United and Mamelodi Sundowns also played out to a lacklustre draw.
On Sunday, November 26, Orlando Pirates broke their winless streak after securing a 1-0 away victory against Bloemfontein Celtic. Baroka FC played out to a 2-all draw against Platinum Stars.
