You Choose The Team Of The Month

Soccer Laduma’s ‘Team of the Month’ is a feature that takes place in one Soccer Laduma edition per month, highlighting the top performers from the Premier Soccer League clubs.

With over four weeks of football having gone by, it's time for Soccer Laduma to select the Team of the Month. Selections are based on the performances of players in league and cup fixtures that have taken place in the preceding four weeks of football action.

The opening three rounds of Absa Premiership fixtures has seen Mpumalanga Black Aces lead the pack earlier on after claiming two wins and a draw to move to the summit of the table with seven points.

Orlando Pirates continued their amazing run in the CAF Confederation Cup following their booking of a semi-final berth after overcoming AC Leopards 2-0 at Orlando Stadium. The Buccaneers will now go into their last group match against Zamalek SC with only top spot to play for.

Kaizer Chiefs took another giant leap towards defending their MTN8 title following their 1-1 and 1-0 aggregate scores against Bloemfontein Celtic. Ajax Cape Town overcame Bidvest Wits 1-0 in their second leg semi-final tie after the first leg finished 1-1. The Amakhosi will now square off against the Urban Warriors in the final of Wafa Wafa on September 19 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.

The Team of the Month will always be set up in a standard 4-4-2 formation, selected by Soccer Laduma's team of respected journalists.

The Soccer Laduma journos are currently in deliberation over this month’s selections. In the meantime we want to hear from you as to who you think should be in the Soccer Laduma ‘Team of the Month’.

This Monday you get the chance to post your ‘Team of the Month’. See how close you get to the one which will appear in Soccer Laduma this Wednesday.
