With the 2012/13 PSL campaign now done and dusted, and all the awards handed out, we reflect on the last month of the season.
Kaizer Chiefs clinched their first league title since 2005, while second-placed Platinum Stars ended as Q4 winners, after an impressive run this season.
In the basement of the table standings, the likes of Ajax Cape Town and Chippa United managed a string of great performances to avoid automatic relegation, meaning at least one Cape Town team will play in the PSL next season, while the other is set to battle it out in the PSL/NFD playoffs.
Following yet another thrilling PSL month, it is now time for Soccer-Laduma to compile the ‘Team of the Month’. Selections are based on the performances of players in league and cup fixtures that have taken place in the preceding four weeks of football action.
The team will always be set up in a standard 4-4-2 formation, selected by Soccer-Laduma's team of respected journalists.
The Soccer-Laduma journos are currently in deliberation over the ‘Team of the Month’. In the meantime we want to hear from you who you think should be in the Soccer-Laduma ‘Team of the Month’.
See how close you get to the one which will appear in the new Soccer-Laduma on Wednesday.
