Bafana Bafana set out on a mission to bring six points back to South Africa from their two respective 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Central African Republic (CAR) and Ethiopia.
Having already secured the three points against CAR, following last weekend’s 3-0 win in Cameroon, Bafana will be looking to conclude their mission on Sunday, June 16, when they face Ethiopia in Addis Ababa.
Midfielder Reineilwe ‘Yeye’ Letsholonyane told Soccer-Laduma that their mission will be incomplete if they do not secure all three points on offer when thy face the CAF Group A leaders.

Yeye, who celebrated his 31st birthday last Sunday, said that they will be aiming to commemorate Youth Day with a win in East Africa.
“Our mission was to get all the six points on the road. We got three on Saturday and we have to beat Ethiopia to get the other three. There is no two ways about it, we have to win this game on Sunday.
“It is our Youth Day and it would be the best way to commemorate it with a victory in Ethiopia. It is as simple as that. We have to beat Ethiopia and top the group before we play our last qualifier against Botswana at home.
“Every player in the team is aware of that. We are not putting pressure on ourselves but we know how important it is to win that game.
“We want to get results for ourselves and not depend on other results for us to qualify for the last round of qualifiers,” the Kaizer Chiefs midfielder explained.
