After failing to score in three outings, Bafana Bafana netted twice in last night’s Africa Cup of Nations tie with Angola. South Africa defeated the Angolans 2-0 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, in their second round Group A game.
Midfielder Reneilwe "Yeye" Letsholonyane made a second-half appearance, replacing May Mahlangu in the middle of the park, and the Kaizer Chiefs man says that the team was clinical in front of goal.
Yeye said that in the past they have created the opportunities but have been unable to convert them.
"You remember I said the other day that all the players on the field of play can score? A defender scored and a striker scored, and we won the game. We didn't just score one goal but two which means we are capable of creating chances and if we take them we win the game.
“As a team everyone is responsible for everything, whether it is defending or attacking," Letsholonyane explained.
