Free State Stars have received a major boost with news that Mthokozisi Yende has returned to training.
The former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, who is yet to make his official debut for Ea Lla Koto owing to injury, is back at training with the rest of his teammates.
Yende joined the Bethlehem outfit in June after impressing Steve Komphela and his technical team at training. The 29-year-old is one of the players that impressed for Stars during the team’s tour of China in June.
More good news from Stars is that Mbhuyiselo Sambu has also resumed training with the team.
“The two guys are back at training. They have been struggling with injuries in the last few weeks. But they are back and they will need to work on their fitness levels in the coming week or so,” a source at the club revealed.
However, Stars defender Daniel Cardoso is still expected to remain on the sidelines owing to injury.
