Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Dove Wome maintains that the unity that exists in the team is the reason for the side’s impressive run so far in the 2013/14 season.
The Togolese has been inspirational for Pitso Mosimane’s team in the games played by the side so far this season.
“I have had a good run, but Sundowns is not a one man team. The players here in Chloorkop are among the most talented in the PSL but the important thing is that we have a very good unit and we understand each other as if we have been playing together forever.
"We train hard and push each other to the limit on the training grounds but during a match we fight tooth and nail for one another and that shows that we are united as a team, regardless of who plays.
"The ones who don’t make it into the match day team always give the ones in the team their full support, especially the senior players and with that we can only achieve more,” Wome told the club’s official website.
Wome and his teammates have an important game this weekend against Bloemfontein Celtic in the Telkom Knockout.
Sundowns won 3-1 when the two teams played in the league in August.
