Wits Ready For Dikwena

Third-placed Wits will look to move up the Absa Premiership table and consolidate their standing, when they lock horns against Platinum Stars tonight.

Gavin Hunts' men are still mathematically in the PSL title chase, and will be looking at every opportunity to capitalise on any fumbles by Kaizer Chiefs or Mamelodi Sundowns.

Midfielder, Mathew Pattison, who underwent knee surgery recently,  is confident his side will do well against Dikwena to lessen the gap between themselves and the chasing pack.

“I’m happy with the club's progression this season. We are in third spot which is one above where we were last season, and we still have games in hand over both Sundowns and Chiefs, ” said Pattison.

“It has been wonderful to see a player like Sibusiso Vilakazi coming to his own and playing well in the midfield and Sthembiso Ngcobo scoring the goals for us. He has developed a good relationship with Hunt, and I have always rated him highly as a player”, concluded the Wits star.

The Clever Boys will have to teach Dikwena a lesson if they intended on being part of the league chasing pack.

The match will commence at 19:30 from the Bidvest Stadium.
