Wits have completed the signing of Denver Mukamba, with the Zimbabwean adding depth to the squad.
Mukamba has been a long-term target for the Braamfontein-based outfit, having first attended a trial under former Students coach, Roger de Sa. He returned to the club in November of 2012, where he was assessed by Antonio Lopez Habas, who has since been replaced by Clive Barker.
The 2012 Zimbabwean Footballer of the Year impressed the club on several occasions and concluded the deal after impressing Barker.
Mukamba has joined his compatriots Thomas Sweswe and Tinashe Nengomasha at Wits, with the 20-year-old is expected to add a creative spark to the team. He will be competing for a place in Barker’s side with the likes of Nengomasha and Matthew Pattison.
