SuperSport United have secured the services of talented goalkeeper, Ronwen Williams, for an extra three years after he signed a contract extension until 2017.
The 21-year-old is widely regarded as one of the most talented goalkeepers to come out of South Africa in recent years, and has long since been a target for some of the PSL’s other clubs.
However, Matsatsantsa have previously voiced their stance on Williams’ future, with their only intentions of selling him being if a good offer came in from a club overseas.

Now, with the ‘keeper's contract set to expire in June, the club have acted swiftly in extending his stay, with their Director of Football, Stan Matthews, confirming that he signed a new deal that would see him through to 2017.
The Siya crew has previously reported that SuperSport’s partner club, Tottenham Hotspur, have the first option on Williams should any club want to tempt him away from Tshwane in the future.
Did Williams make the right decision in extending his SuperSport contract?
