SuperSport United goalkeeper, Ronwen Williams, has confirmed that he has put pen to paper on his three-year extension at the club.
The club’s CEO, Stan Matthews, revealed to the Siya crew back in November that the 21-year-old had agreed to extend his stay at the club, with a long-term extension having been agreed on.
Now, as the ‘keeper recovers from injury, he has personally confirmed that he will definitely be remaining with Matsatsantsa for the near future.
Williams tweeted saying, “Glad too announce that I finally extended my stay @SuperSportFC until 2017 #skeema matsatsansa”
The news will ward off interest from any other interested parties in the PSL, with Williams agent previously having told the crew that his next aim is to get the talented shot-stopped playing overseas.
