News reaching the Siya crew is that new Mpumalanga Black Aces striker Tendai Ndoro turned down Mamelodi Sundowns’ offer and decided to sign for AmaZayoni instead.
As reported by the Siya crew, Ndoro has signed a one-year loan deal with Aces, with his agent George Deda expressing his confidence that the striker’s stay at Aces will be a success.

Now the crew can reveal that Sundowns were also interested in the player, who, prior to joining Aces, was the leading goal scorer in the Zimbabwe League with 12 goals. These developments were confirmed by Deda.
“Yes, Sundowns sent some people to Zimbabwe to talk to us about the possibility of taking the player to their club, but after careful consideration, we decided against it. We looked at the record of the Zimbabwean strikers who had joined Sundowns after doing well here and we felt that it was best that we go somewhere else.
“Sundowns recently let go of two quality strikers, Nyasha Mushekwi and Simba Sithole. These two strikers did well here, especially Simba, but he wasn’t even registered to play, so we decided not to take that risk,” explained Deda.
“I have nothing against Sundowns because they are a good club and they pay their players well. Plus, several Zimbabwean players did join them and became successes there.
“I’m talking about the likes of Peter Ndlovu and Esrom Nyandoro, so they are certainly not a bad club, but I had to put the player’s career above everything else,” he concluded.
