News reaching the Siya crew is that Mark Mayambela and Mkhanyiseli Siwahla have been released by Mpumalanga Black Aces for allegedly coming to training under the influence of alcohol.
It was reported on the Soccer-Laduma web and mobi sites earlier today that Mayambela had parted ways with AmaZayoni, with Aces Media Liaison Officer Gordon Masondo explaining that the split was because there was another team interested in the player.
However, sources close to the club have since confirmed that both Mayambela and Siwahla have been released by the club because of ill discipline.
According to sources, the two players allegedly came to training while under the influence of alcohol, an offence that the club does not take lightly. The club subsequently decided to terminate both players’ contracts.
Contacted for comment Siwahla said: “Ha, ha, ha, eish, my brother. I can’t comment right now as I’m still sorting out some issues. Give me a call next week and I’ll tell you everything.”
Despite several attempts, the crew could not get Mayambela’s response as his phone remains switched off.
