Four Teams Who Aren’t Safe In The Absa Premiership…
Who Will End Up In The PSL Playoffs?
With just one game left in the Absa Premiership, there are four teams still not assured of their status in the top-flight who need to get a result next week.
Take a look at the key fixtures on the final day in the gallery above
The last round of games will take place on May 12th as all 16 teams go into battle to finish as high up the table as possible, with only Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Platinum Stars unable to move spots.
While Dikwena are already relegated, it is still very much up in the air with regards to who will be heading into the relegation playoffs with two teams from the National First Division.
Jomo Cosmos have secured their spot in the playoffs having finished second in the NFD, although they will be joined by Black Leopards, Real Kings or Witbank Spurs depending on how results go this coming weekend.
Down at the bottom of the top-flight we have Ajax Cape Town in 15th, SuperSport United in 14th, Polokwane City in 13th and Baroka in 12th. All four of those sides could end up in the playoffs if results don’t go their way, with all four craving three points to secure their status.
Just three points separate Ajax from Baroka, who could finish as low as 15th or as high as eighth depending on how other results go, and the Urban Warriors need a win in order to preserve their place in the top-flight.
Who do you think will end up in 15th spot?
