George Lebese may have referenced Pitso Mosimane for promising players game-time before joining Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Brazilians got back to winning ways last night with a 3-0 Absa Premiership victory over Black Leopards at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium, with Coach Mosimane having quite a bit to say in his post-match interview with SuperSport TV.
"It’s easy to go to newspapers and say I wasn’t playing because they didn’t give me a chance, who must we take out?”, were some of Mosimane’s words after the game and without mentioning any names, it seems that he may have been referring to George Lebese and Toni Silva, who have been a topic of conversation in the media following their exit from the Chloorkop-based club.
Fans on social media thereafter asked Lebese to answer Mosimane’s question about ‘who must we take out’.
After having previously expressed his frustration with his situation at Sundowns, Lebese, who is currently on loan at SuperSport United, did not hold anything back in his response on his official Twitter account.
“Ok fair enough, no one, guys are doing well but also don’t call us when we at our teams playing and performing, lying to us about how we gonna play then,” the midfielder said.
