Chiefs have already signed Teenage Hadebe, Bhongolethu Jayiya and Philani Zulu, but there could be more if any of the three trialists impress.
Philippe:
The Argentine comes to South Africa after leaving Agrotikos Asteras in Greece at the end of June and arrives with a decent record for 2016/17 after scoring nine goals and grabbing two assists in 34 games across the league and cup.
After leaving South American giants, Boca Juniors, the 29-year-old has played in countries such as Switzerland, Paraguay and El Salvador in recent years. He scored a hat-trick in his last game for Agrotikos as they beat Panelefsiniakos last month.
Lurie:
Formerly of Moroka Swallows and Mpumalanga Black Aces, Lurie arrives at Chiefs after leaving Hapoel Afula in Israel and will come back to South Africa with a point to prove having struggled to break into the Absa Premiership in the past. His career in Israel started well as he scored on his debut however he battled to kick on from there.
The 25-year-old has made just four top-flight appearances - all as a substitute - and spent the bulk of his time playing in the MDC where he was among the top scorers in 2014/15. He represented South Africa at the 2013 Maccabiah Games in Jerusalem.

Gomes:
Having left South Africa in 2014 as a young teenager, Gomes is relatively unknown in South Africa but has now been given the chance to impress at Chiefs. The 19-year-old left Mzansi to join the ProFormance Soccer Academy in the UK before being snapped up by Portuguese side, Estoril.
He joined 1°Dezembro Sintra on loan for a while but battled to make an impact and is now back in the country of his birth as he looks to try and pick up some regular game time.
It remains to be seen how long Komphela will wait before making a final decision on the trio, though they will all be hoping for a decision in their favour ahead of the 2017/18 season.
