Young South African midfielder, Brad Wexler, says that he’s hoping that a PSL club will give him a chance to prove himself.
The 19-year-old has been clubless since returning from an unhappy spell with Portuguese side, CS Maritimo, although he has spent brief spells training with Moroka Swallows and Chippa United, but never had an official trial.
Now, with the Absa Premiership season completed, Wexler remains adamant that he just wants to get playing now.
The youngster told the Siya crew, “I’ve not had a proper trial with any club as yet, I trained with a couple just to keep fit, but game time at both clubs was always going to be hard to find so I looked elsewhere. Things were very frustrating for me with what happened at Maritimo, especially after being told directly that I was well liked and considered to be a good prospect.
The main objective for me now is to get playing, and hopefully a PSL club will give me the opportunity. After that, it’s up to me to prove myself.”
