Weekend Report For The Bafana Boss

It was certainly a quiet weekend for South African players abroad, who are in and around the Bafana Bafana setup, with many players still on their winter break, while others were sitting on the bench, out of the squad, or made brief appearances.

All eyes are currently on May Mahlangu, who is now a free agent after his contract with Helsingborgs expired, as well as Dino Ndlovu who has been linked with a return to South Africa and has not been included in Maccabi Haifa's squad recently.

With the winter break still in effect over the weekend for players in Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium and Russia - the likes of Siyanda Xulu and Ayanda Patosi, to name a few, remained out of action.

Kamohelo Mokotjo has been in South African with PEC Zwolle as they prepare for the second-half of their season, and his club went down 4-1 to Stuttgart in a friendly at the weekend.

Only a few players in England were involved in the action over the weekend, but they endured disappointing results.
