Weekend Report For The Bafana Boss

With a number of South Africans abroad still enjoying their holidays, there are a few players who have been hard at work - especially those in English football.

Kagisho Dikgacoi put in a 45-minute shift for Crystal Palace as they earned a point at home to Norwich in the league - before helping the Eagles to dump West Brom out of the FA Cup.

Bongani Khumalo watched from the bench for Doncaster while Dean Furman was in midfield as they lost to QPR before making a substitute appearance in their 3-2 FA Cup defeat at the hands of Stevenage.

Tokelo Rantie had to be content with a place on the bench for Bournemouth while Kgosi Ntlhe endured a difficult week having gone down 3-1 to Brentford before playing out a 0-0 draw with Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Cup.

Here is how the players in or around the Bafana fold performed.

Kagisho Dikgacoi (Crystal Palace, England): Came off at half-time in Thursday's 1-1 home draw with Norwich City and received a yellow card, and played in Saturday's 2-0 away FA Cup win over West Brom. 15 starts. Team Position: 18/20

Bongani Khumalo (Doncaster Rovers, England, loan): On the bench. 23 starts, one goal. Team Position: 22/24
