It is thought that Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper, Wayne Sandilands, is open to making a move away from the club having dropped down the pecking order of late.
The 31-year-old was averaging 25 games a season between 2010 and 2013, playing all 30 of Masandawana’s league games in the 2012/13 campaign, however was then dropped when Kennedy Mweene arrived from Free State Stars.
Over the course of the last two seasons, Sandilands has featured in just six league games, with Denis Onyango now being called upon by Pitso Mosimane for their last two games.
The Siya crew recently linked the shot-stopper with Orlando Pirates, who are thought to be on the lookout for someone to replace the late Senzo Meyiwa, and Sandilands is known to be on their list of targets.
Given Sandilands' current situation at Chloorkop, the crew are led to believe that he would be keen on making the switch to Parktown should the opportunity arise in the next few months.
