Stellenbosch FC have unveiled a striker, to take the number of additions to Steve Barker’s side, to three in total.
Having added Fuad Johnson and Antonio Van Wyk to the DStv Premiership team after they were promoted from the club’s development, Stellenbosch have announced the signing of Waseem Isaacs who is returning for a second spell at the club.
“We are delighted to announce that we have secured the services of Waseem Isaacs. Bringing him back to the Stellenbosch FC family,” Stellies confirmed on the club’s official Twitter account.
Isaacs played in the second tier last season for Cape Town All Stars. The 30-year-old was one of the top performers for Stellies in the 2019/20 season.
The addition, Isaacs will be a boost for Barker’s team as the club aims to improve on their performance in the new season, after netting just 26 goals in last season's DStv Premiership campaign.
