Former Kaizer Chiefs head coach, Vladimir Vermezovic, is keen on returning to South Africa following his departure from Serbian side, Partizan Belgrade.
Vermezovic, or VV as he is often called, left Chiefs last year after a disappointing campaign for the Glamour Boys, going on to be replaced by Stuart Baxter.
However, after spending this season with his former side, Partizan, news reaching Soccer-Laduma is that the Serbian is now eager to make a return to Mzansi for the new season should the right opportunity arise for him.
Ivica Stankovic, the coach’s representative, confirmed the news saying, “VV is now a free agent, he enjoyed his time in South Africa and enjoyed work with South African players, if he gets the chance then he’d be excited to come back and work here.”
The 49-year-old has been linked with a possible move to Orlando Pirates should Roger de Sa leave his position as the Buccaneers head coach, and VV is also being watched by SuperSport United as they look to find a replacement for Gavin Hunt who recently left to join Wits.
