News reaching the Siya crew is that former Jomo Cosmos midfielder, Vusimuzi Zungu, is undergoing trials at Bidvest Wits with the aim of joining the Clever Boys.
The player, who is currently playing in Swaziland for Mbabane Highlanders, started the trials this week, and according to a source close to the player he is doing very well.
"Yes Zungu signed for Highlanders this season and he has been doing very well. So much so that he has attracted interest from Wits, who offered him the trials where for now he had done well so far,” said the source.
“If all goes well he would only join the team in December when the registration window period opens again," the source concluded.
