Polokwane City defender, Vukile Mngqibisa, says their game against University of Pretoria will be a tough encounter, but are looking to upset Tuks in their own backyard.
The Katlehong-born hard as teak defender revealed to the crew that their preparations are coming out nicely and they’re ready to inflict pain on Tuks. He said they managed to get the three points at home, and now is the time to go and fight for the three points away.
“Each and every game that we play is very crucial for us as we’re focusing on ensuring that we survive. They lost their last game to Mamelodi Sundowns and we know it’s going to be tough, but we’re up for the challenge. The guys are in a fighting mode at the moment. They’ll come at us obviously trying to get revenge. We’re motivated by our coach, Boebie Solomons. He’s always there to guide, and our job is to show him on the field of play that we can do the trick.
“Fortunately the team is complete with no injuries and suspensions. We just have to do all our best to overcome this situation and come back with maximum points. We can beat them at their own backyard,” said Jovis.
Rise and Shine are placed at position 15 on the Absa Premiership table, and are left with six games to wrap up their 2013/14 PSL campaign. They have amassed 20 points from 24 games, and it remains to be seen whether they’ll escape the relegation scare.
