Vilakazi On The Lookout

Former Platinum Stars assistant coach David Vilakazi is still on the lookout for a coaching job.

The Free State Stars legend, who has also had a coaching stint with Carara Kicks in the lower ranks, was last at Ea Lla Koto, working as an advisor to Steve Komphela.

He and Mandla Ncikazi parted ways with the club at the end of last season and Vilakazi reveals that, since then, he has not had any luck in terms of finding a new job and is itching to find employment. He is a teacher by profession but is adamant that football is his first love.

He told the Siya crew, “Yeah, I’ve been back home while trying to secure something. With all the experience and knowledge I have amassed in the game over the years I have a lot to offer. But I’ve been helping out at Bloemfontein Young Tigers in the meantime.”
