Sibusiso Vilakazi has expressed his excitement about his recent call-up to the Bafana Bafana squad to face Morocco on 11 October.
The previously uncapped midfielder has really caught the eye for Wits on the left side of midfield this season. The 23-year-old is also Wits’ club captain and appears to have very good leadership qualities.

The Siya crew put in a call to the talented midfielder soon after the Bafana squad was announced earlier today (1 October).
He said, “It’s a good feeling to get a chance to represent your country. Overall, I’m excited. I have represented the U23 national side but this is my first time in the full national team. I’m willing to play anywhere in midfield."
"Morocco is a good team, we saw them in the Afcon, hey. I haven’t told my family yet but I’m sure my Mom will be very happy. She is the first person I thought of when I heard my name read out for the national team.”
