Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has confirmed the outcome of a recent disciplinary hearing for one of the technical team members.
The Siya crew reported earlier this month that coach/performance analyst Kamaal Sait had been suspended due to “issues between him and the club” around the same time head coach Brandon Truter had taken special leave.
All the drama coincided with the Dube Birds’ poor results even under Simo Dladla, the assistant coach who took over while Truter was away.
But things are getting back to normal.
“I can confirm that the internal process regarding Mr Sait is over and he will return to work on Tuesday,” was Mogashoa’s response when approached for comment by Soccer Laduma.
Due to the FIFA break, it has been a quiet couple of days on the domestic local front, but Swallows return to action on Sunday with a home game in the DStv Premiership against Stellenbosch FC.
Truter’s work, and indeed that of his backroom staff, which includes Sait, have a mammoth task of guiding the Dube Birds back to safety – they are currently third from bottom on the table after six matches, with one win, two draws and three defeats.
