Former Ajax Cape Town forward, Alcardo van Graan, could be set to sign for PSL new boys, Polokwane City.
The 27-year-old striker, who scored against Manchester United for Ajax in a pre-season game back in 2012, was playing for Milano FC most recently, although spent the first half of this campaign with SAB League outfit Maties, who are based in Stellenbosch, Cape Town.
Now, however, the forward is looking to get his career back on track with a move to Polokwane, and the Siya crew has been informed that he is currently in the city to talk to the club’s head coach, Boebie Solomons, about a potential move.
Van Graan hasn’t played a PSL game since Ajax’s 1-0 defeat to Black Leopards in November 2012, although he will be hoping to persuade Solomons to take a chance on him to help boost the club’s strike force.
City have scored 16 goals in the PSL so far this season and currently find themselves sat 13th on the Absa Premiership table.
