Word coming out of University of Pretoria camp is that they have put their 2-1 loss against Polokwane City on Saturday behind them.
Speaking to the Siya crew, midfielder Mpho Matsi, said they have been unlucky in their past few games. They have worked very hard to win last Saturday’s game but it wasn’t to be.
“The way I see it, I think we don’t have luck for now. There are no reasons to panic because we play good football and we are just unlucky. Sometimes the officials can turn the game against you, their decisions have cost us some of the games.
"However, we have shifted our focus to the Swallows game tomorrow night at home, which we aim to win. We must win and improve our position on the log. We want to reach a 30 points mark and at least we can be safe from relegation for now.
“Yes we know and respect Swallows but they’re visiting us so we don’t want to respect them too much. We know their weaknesses, they’re good in attacking but they can’t defend well. We need to capitalise on that. They have good players in Lerato Chabangu and Siyabonga Nomvethe, they can be very dangerous.
"They’re not doing well either, having lost to Ajax Cape Town. It’s going to be a great one but we must go for a kill. I’m disappointed though by the fact I won’t play due to suspension,” said Matsi.
Tuks will be without Siyabonga Shoyisa and Matsi when they face the Dube Birds, they are placed at position 13 with 28 points after 25 games.
The proceedings get underway at Tuks Stadium exactly at 19:30.
