University of Pretoria defender, Warren Bishop, has revealed that he’s happy to have played in their last game against Moroka Swallows.
Tuks won the game by 2-1 and Bishop came on as a substitute for the first time this season.
Speaking to the crew, Bishop, said he’s looking forward to more games as they search for a top eight spot.
“Obviously it’s nice to play again and I’m looking forward to more games for the team. Fortunately we won the game and that’s a bonus. I hope to play more and help the team in search of the top eight spot. The next couple of games will be difficult for us but we’ll keep fighting for a decent finish. Next week it’s Free State Stars and they’re fighting for their lives in the league.
“We’ve already started preparing for the Stars game and the whole weekend leading up to the game. It’s an away game and we have to be prepared for that. I haven’t spoken to the coach in terms of getting more game-time but I hope we’ll talk in the next few days. I think we’ll have to analyse the game first and make sure we work on our errors and look at their weaknesses as well. They’re a team that likes to pass the ball around but we beat them convincingly in the first round. They have good players who will put up a fight,” added Bishop.
