University of Pretoria coach, Steve Barker, revealed to the Siya crew that he’s still waiting on Mamelodi Sundowns regarding Raymond Monama’s future.
The player joined Tuks on loan from the Brazilians during the January transfer window and he started eight games and came off the bench five times in 2013/14 season.
Speaking to the crew, Barker said they’re still waiting to hear from Sundowns but they made their (Tuks) intentions clear regarding the player.
“There’s no further development for now. We’ll hear from Sundowns because they might keep and release some of their players. We’ll see but the player is keen to stay for longer but at the moment our hands are tied because everything depends on his club, Sundowns. As a football player, all you want is game-time so he’s keen to stay because he’s playing here,” said Barker.
The coach also revealed that they will know the future of the club’s captain, Tebogo Monyai, saying that they’ll sit down at the end of next week.
The crew will keep you updated with player developments at Tuks.
